Blacking out rear lights-by tinting??

Hi.
I am going over the car and giving it the royal treatment as in polishing ,waxing, detailing and then the leather interior starts.
I took out the rear lights to polish those and the light housings on the bumper were cleaned and polished as well.

Standing back , in my mind the butt looks pretty darn good without any color but black. My Son agrees as well.
So I was wondering has anyone or anyone with window tint experience ever used this stuff on the rear lights?

they have a smoke/black out paint.. it's sort of a clear coat, for lenses but it may be illegal for transportation safety in your country/state/province etc.... check out the mustang cobra sceene/online photo's for blackout tail lights.

do an online search for smoke lens paint etc.. there's one that's a mustang svt cobra that looks sweet
