WTB: 1983 928 5 Speed Instrument Cluster

Looking for a good working Instrument cluster for a 1983 928 5 Speed USA Spec

Instrument Clusters for 83-86 Models will work as long as they are 5 speed and USA Spec.

PM me, willing to pay decent money for a good one.

Thanks

I don't think any but an 83 work in an 83, for sure the 85/86 uses a different tach due to the dual ignition. talk to www.928intl.com

I was going to swap the tach and speedo out anyway. The printed circuit is all I really need but NLA and most people just sell the cluster used as one part so just easier to ask for the cluster as apposed to the printed circuit which is the real problem. PET shows the same cluster from 83-86 M481 5 Speed Part # 92864110233 and the tach will swap.

Already talked to 928 INTL No dice....

83 circuit board is different from the other years. My comment talk to 928intl was to see what is compatible, but if the circuit board is different I don't see how the whole cluster would be compatible.

Yes, You're correct after doing some more research. I will definitely need the 83 circuit board. Nobody has one and I've tried every dismantler, the big 3, the small 2, ebay, etc. Just have to keep looking for a good rebuildable printed circuit or consider a full hardwire...

Actually I may have remembered it wrong. In looking through some old e-mails I think it's from a '78, not an '83. Maybe he can point you somewhere though.

I PMed him on Rennlist but he didn't get back with me. from reading his posts he has a 84 project he's working on. If any one has any leads on a 83 cluster hit me up....
