brake accumulator/ differential lock
On a c4, can I just plug the port on the pressure accumulator that leads to the solenoid which controls the differential locks?
I don't care to have the differential locks operating. Any issues doing this? I am contemplating this because I notice the brake pump turn on for a few seconds each time I press the brake pedal. thereafter, i noticed there is a leak on one of the differential locks so thinking that might be causing it and or possibly the accumulator is bad? thanks |

You really don’t want to do that. You will lose the awd and your rear differential control.
Just rebuild the diff locks with new seals. |

That pump runs like that on the C4 .. normal operation
the green pressure switch sometimes blows and then the pump will cycle.. |
