brake accumulator/ differential lock

On a c4, can I just plug the port on the pressure accumulator that leads to the solenoid which controls the differential locks?
I don't care to have the differential locks operating. Any issues doing this?

I am contemplating this because I notice the brake pump turn on for a few seconds each time I press the brake pedal. thereafter, i noticed there is a leak on one of the differential locks so thinking that might be causing it and or possibly the accumulator is bad?

You really don’t want to do that. You will lose the awd and your rear differential control.

Just rebuild the diff locks with new seals.

That pump runs like that on the C4 .. normal operation
the green pressure switch sometimes blows and then the pump will cycle..
