964 Batteries
Do any of you have experience with X2 batteries?

You pay a premium to get anything from Batteries Plus. You can get an AGM with near the same specs for less. My 964 isn't a daily driver, and is hard on batteries, even with a maintainer.
The "correct" battery for 964 is group 91, which isn't common. Group 48 size battery will fit, but is about 15mm taller, which only slightly interferes with the front cover.

I have a similar setup. In service for 6 years now, no issues!

I had a follow up question, so here more detail on my setup:
PC925T-A Part #: 0765-2020B0N0 Weight: 23.8 lbs Rennline mount: Part# EL36.35 Description: Rennline Battery Mount Kit Odyssey 925-1 The best thing is how reliable this is. Never felt it was undersized either in terms of cranking amps. G Last edited by aigel; 05-07-2020 at 09:06 AM.. |
