Unhappy 996 Change manual transmision fluid

???? any one can help me on my 1999 996 C2, how to change Manual transmision
fluid, On manual transmision i found 2 plugs on passenger side,
1 drain plug on the bottom & it seem like one more drain plug on the driver side, i am not sure with one's is with. please help me!

Is your car a C4? Don't they have some different fluid for the front drive shaft, which may explain those plugs on the passenger side? Dunno.

I did this job yesterday on my 993 and it's pretty much the same on every BMW and Porsche I've been underneath. Fill plug is on driver's side and you need to make sure you can get it out before you touch the drain plug, which, of course, is on the bottom. Mine used a 10mm hex on both bolts and I needed a breaker bar to get the fill plug out.

i had 996, C2, Do i still fill from Driver side?

What are those 2 plugs on passenger side for?
