I have a 996 and would like to do the same. Can you provide the details of the change please.

It really looks good sitting down, any clearance problems?

I am planning on doing this upgrade as well. Where can you find the best deal on this package?

I bought everything from pelicanparts......the shocks at $1,059.00 they matched shox.com, and H&Rīs they made $326,00 if Iīm not mistaken.

Go for it, Iīm so pleased how my car handdles and feels compared to the original setup.

Swarf, no clearance problems. Just noise on the front strut, when ridding bumpy roads, like the coil hitting the strut. I did cover the upper and lower part of the coil with a rubber tube.

Any ideas why the noise persist?

But the feeling is much better and safer now.

I have the same noise problem in the front. To me, it usually happens when the springs unload ( ie: pothole) and then come back together. I called H&R and they sent me some tubing. They suggested putting it on the coil at the bottom of the helper coils. I think it's about 4 coils down from the top. I haven't put the tubing on yet, so I don't know if it will help. When the weight of the car is loaded on the springs, the top 4 (I think it's about 4) coils compress together (helper springs). They said it is the open coils hitting the compressed coils that causes the noise.
If I ever get around to installing the tubing, I'll let you know of the results.
