diy spring & shock install on 964?
I am considering the installation of H&R sport springs and Bilstein HD shocks on my 92 C2 cab and just leaving the alignment for the shop. Has anyone done this work themselves? If so, how complex, what types of complications are there, etc? The PCA site claims that the process is much easier than the 993 as there are not any rear shock tower obstructions. Any insights before taking on this task is appreciated.

Try this site: http://www.porsche964.co.uk/
Click on Technical, then "Wheels, Tyres and suspension." Hope it helps.

I did it on my 92. It's relatively straight forward. But you will need an impact wrench. The biggest pain was removing and putting back on the rear strut nuts. There is very little room in the engine to work with.
