996 Interior Code Help
Hi all,
I jumped over from the BMW and 944 boards hoping that someone can help. I work for a classic car dealership and we just got a 1999 996 C2 Cabrio in for sale. Its a very interesting color combo of Pastel Yellow (Code L12) but I can't seem to find the interior color name. It looks to be a cinnamon color. The code is MA. Can anyone give assistance? Just call 1-800-PORSCHE and give them the VIN. They can provide you with all of the information regarding build date, interior/exterior colors, options, etc. relating to that car. That can also tell you if there are any outstanding recalls.

Thanks for the tip. They said the car was Pastel Yellow but the interior they gave me was Box Sterrot Ledei. He told me he is not sure what that was. I have seen on the internet listed a Boxster Red but was that only on Boxsters or is that a name of an interior color for all Porsches? This was the problem I was having I was hoping someone can answer for me. Anyone have a 1999 brochure?

You are looking at a "special oder" boxter red interior which is part of the Exclusive option group offered that year. You also have deviated color console pack. use the following link to have the exact Porsche code.

My 1997 Boxster is ... Boxster red. I also have MA on the option sticker. A local 1999 996 owner also has Boxster red. But both of our cars are silver.
That one looks like the oscar myer mobile. |

My champagne colored 996 has that Boxster Red interior
as well.......
