spacers for 17

i have speedlines .can anybody tell me what is the best size of tires ,and how many mm should the spacers be.thank you

they are speedline wheels.17 8 17 9 .25 mm is ok.and someone told me to put 255 40 17 or 255 35 17 all around is that good

It's impossible to realisticly answer your question w/o the info Don requested.

There were no 17" Speedline wheels oem for 993.

For sure you don't want 255/40 or 255/35 all around. 255/40 was an oem rear fitment on 9x17 ET55 wheels
