993RS / 964 steering wheel adapter
Does anyone know of an adapter that will allow a 993RS steering wheel to work with a 964--and allow for the use of the standar horn button/wiring. Don't want to cut stuff up...
Thank you in advance! |

The 993RS wheel is a Momo product, I would start my search w/ them.

Thanks Bill,
I have tried Momo, the car has an airbag, which complicates things quite a bit. I put one in my personal 993, and rigged up a very functional but not "pretty" solution to keep the horn working. (Great color on your RS by the way!) I can't find anyone who has a "professional" solution. Tried Momo, Pelican Parts, Performance, Paragon, CDOC, + others... Regards,

Horn & signal light problem
I'm having the same problem with mine. Contacted PorscheshopUK and they're response was:
"Thank you for your Email, All you need is the horn contact finger that goes on to the steering column." http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/steering_wheel_accessories_porsche_cars.html#a585

A 993 wheel won't fit in a 964 as far as I know. The steering column is different. If you're looking for a horn contact plate, the part number is 964.652.104.00. There is no cutting involved.
