need quick measurement please!

I need someone to take a width measurement from left front lower inner strut mount bolt to right front lower inner strut mount bolt.

In other words if you open the hood and look at the strut mounts, you have 4 bolts. The two inner bolts closest to the center of the car, and closest to the front of the car is what i need the measurement of.

Long story, but I have conflicting numbers (25 mm difference!) from two very reliable sources. Inches are fine (down to the 1/16th), but mm or cm would be best.

Must be from a C2.

Thanks!

From an early 95 C2:

27.3mm

95.9mm

Same on passenger and driver side.

Measured center to center on the pointed ends
with a digital caliper.

For reference, I also checked the shop manual (5, 9-11).
The distance between passenger/driver inner sets
is 869+-2. Front to back, the distance between
"P3" (Front axle side member, bolt hole) and the
center of the tower opening (front/back zero line) is 215.

Yes i was given 869mm also, but is that from a 993? (95 model?) Our frame rack software says 895, and i measured two cars in the parking lot and both of them were 882, so you can see my dilema!

What is 27.3 and 95.9? Is 27.3 the distance between two bolts on the same side? I can see that, but what is 95.9?

You're lucky I am working in the garage. Do you need this measurement?

27.3mm is the same side, forward, lateral (left/right) inter bolt distance

95.9mm is the same side, inner, longitudinal (front/back) inter bolt distance.

869 is what my manual calls out for a 993.

I went out and measured the distance between sides and
also got 857 but had to do it with a tape measure so it is probably
not quite as accurate as the digital caliper.

The car is a very early 95 993 (mfg. 2/94).
