Question on 964 transmission

I'm trying to figure out what goes in a hole that is on the driver's side of the transmission on the plate that covers the differential. The parts cd doesn't show the hole at all. I got this transmission used and it is missing the plug that presumably covers the hole (and gets held in place by a clip). ...and no, I'm not referring to the fill plug for the transmission. See picture... If anyone has a part number for this that would be even better. Many thanks.
