Only pass side defrost is hot

I'm new to the 964:

My defrost now that cold weather is upon us is only blowing hot air on the passenger side of the windshield. There seems to be no appreciable difference in air volume, only temperature. The vent temp's seem to be unaffected. This is quite noticeable when the defrost button is activated.

Any ideas, help, knowledge? I'm still to acquire a 964 manual, so patience for the newbie.
