Hood badge?

Has anyone ever had a loose hood badge that they were able to tighten? I don't want to take a lot of things apart just to get at the badge to tighten it. What is it fastened with, and is it even possible to tighten it?

Open the hood and look under the badge. There are 2 push on nuts holding it to the hood. You should be able to tighten them or replace them, I think they were 8mm (maybe 10 can't remember).

As a side note, I took mine off and there was a round green sticker from the factory under the hood crest from new. This could be an extra way for someone to check for original paint on the hood if it was in question.

They are special nuts on the badge, they have rubber in them, & are hollow. Under the hood is the 2 access holes, you can get the from the dealer, there like $.30 a piece. Do not over tighten.
