Need to identify a part

Hi,

On my 91 C4 I found the following tube....

I have no idea what the purpose is - any clues?

Itīs only ziptied for maintenance purposes.

I see nothing that indicates it comes from the filler neck.



Throw us a bone and show us where it connects on each end. :-)

Hi,

No itīs not involved in the fuel filler assembly...

Itīs comes out of the Sidewall....

It has a open end - and the other End is hidden behind my vision

Thats the reason i ask if anybody knows

It seems like itīs a overflow/ ventilation hose - following this pic...

Brake fluid reservoir overflow.

Slip the rubber hose off at the reservoir and blow air through it.
