FS: Race Headers & Mufflers

I just finished fab'g these for my race car but before I got a chance to use them, the motor popped in my garage - not cool! Anyway, now I'm thinking of putting a turbo motor in its place and won't need these.

They're all 304 stainless all TIG welded, stepped design 1.75" at the head up to 1.875". Proper merge collectors with 2.25" throat then expands to 2.5" for the rest of it. Runs in criss-cross pattern through a pair of stainless Magnaflow straight-through mufflers then out the bumper. There is no merging of the two banks in this design. V-band clamps on the collector outlets to allow for easy muffler or megaphone changes if you want different setups for different tracks for various noise restrictions, etc.

My car is 964 w/ 993 GT2 body kit. I believe these will fit earlier 911s as well w/ possible modifications to the muffler mounting and possibly the. The mufflers bolt directly to the 964 motor mount.

I'll add more pics tonight of the system as it's mounted in the car.

Of course, if you're looking for something like this but a little (or a lot) different, I can custom make just about anything you desire.

Pick-up or ship is fine. Buyer pays all packing & shipping costs from 93940.

I must say looks good, but how about the noise level?

I really don't know how loud they are (or would have been). I only got to drive the car up and down my street a few short runs before the motor developed a very serious sounding knocking sound. My motor is a 12.5:1 3.8 with plastic intake plenum. My bet is it's around 100db on my motor. Lower compression and different intake systems will make different end results.

I'm asking $4,000 for the entire system, cylinder head to tailpipe.

Bump...

The system could be made quieter with other muffler choices.

Beautiful fab work. Wish I could afford this kind of setup.

Headers

I noticed your zip code in Monterey, CA.; I live in Monterey as well.
I'm putting a 3.6 liter in a 1976 930 chassis and need an exhaust system.
