Please help. Replacing oil feed line through body 993
Hi Pelican members,
I just had my 1997 993 ice blasted on the pressure too much on the plastic oil feed line through body to tank. 993 207 212 02 Part number. I’m not finding any existing threads on replacing, this seems easy enough but has not been… any help and guidance is appreciated. Thanks! |

Search "oil filler tube replacement" on Rennlist 993 forum advanced search. This is not an easy operation and unless you are handy, have tools and some 993 knowledge you should likely get the car to your Porsche expert. The tube has to pass through the frame and not in a straightforward path. 2 to 4 hours if you can figure it out. Good luck!

Had to do this a few years back when one of my chassis went through a color change as long as you can get the two access holes reasonably accessable a coat hanger or wire will pull the plastic
hose through the chassis rail not overly difficult just fiddly ...Bert
