Passing on a great deal
10+ years ago one of my closest friends helped his neighbor buy a '97 993 Targa. The guy who bought it is very well off, mansion, plenty of toys, but not exactly what I'd call a car guy... I think tangentially most of us know someone like this. Anyway, he's been asking my friend to sell his car for him and his bottom line cash in hand is 40-42k, I think it's worth in the 55k range. It's black/tan, PSS9, 37k miles, factory paint, a very nice car. Thought about selling my '89 964, 166k, engine rebuild at 110k, very nice inside and out, adjustable suspension, Kinesis mag rims, BB exhaust and headers... a nice car. Didn't take long to decide I'll keep my car. The '89 is my bad as*, loud, fun car. And it goes well with my '88 M5 to boot.

Agreed - probably the right decision. Don't you ever sell that M5!

Tell your buddy to take his car to Franks Porsche repair , they will consign it reasonably and honestly , ask for Chuck .
