964 replacement windshield

Hi folks,
It's time for me to replace the windshield on my 964 race car. I'd like it to be glass, but don't need it to be "porsche factory" glass. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
George

Advice?

Anyone with knowledge on this topic, that they'd be willing to share?
Many thanks,
George

Pilkington makes a perfect replacement far less than the factory Sigla. IIRC I paid $455 for one. I also had it covered in a protective film but I forgot what brand. My friend instals them and he says they will replace the windshield if it breaks.

Make sure you get a Porsche gasket. The aftermarket one that Pelican sells does not fit. I tried it on 2 different cars, 2 different windshields, and 2 different installers. The only fix was using the genuine seal.

The Pilkington is a perfect fit with the OEM porsche gasket. You can order is directly from Pilkington.
Look up the phone number under the "classic" section on the website.
