2004 GT3 Sport seats jammed in full forward position

I bought a pair of Sport seats from a 2004 GT3 with 5,000 miles & installed them in my car. Everything worked great for about 3 months until I used the upper manual lever to move the back rest forward & it jammed in that position. I removed the leather seat upholstery & the cable is still properly attached, so it seems the electric motor at the recline hinge has jammed. Anyone dealt with this before?? Meanwhile the exact same issue has happened with the passenger seat!

Haven't dealt with that before but have you tried wiggle-moving the seat-back forward and backward while trying to further pivot the release lever(s) so to maybe release the snag (of the teeth of the tight-jammed gear cogs/lateral toothed-rods in the seat's mechanism(s) ?

...some seats have dual seat-back release levers - one down low near the fold and one up near the upper third of the seat's back, in case you didn't know that already
