Good source for 996 PPI in L.A. area?

A friend of mine is thinking about a 996 that's in the LA area. Who is good with these down that way? Good communication and knowledgeable?

Anything in particular to watch out for? I know there is a potential for IMS issues; anything else that is relatively common in the early 996?
