996 GT3 instrument cluster advice please

Hello everyone,

I need a bit on advice on an instrument cluster please, I have an NOS 996 GT3 instrument cluster part no being 996 641 105 95 70C in rally black which according to the information I have it is for a 996 GT3 MK1 version from 1999 to 2002.

My question is would this also work in other 996 GT3's including 996 GT3 cup versions, I see they seem to have very similar instrument cluster part no's but not identical.

All advice and help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Hi mate ,

I would say yes ,

Just verify the rear connection , but you know , porsche use as possible the same parts on others models..............

A bit like my front headlights on 996 turbo mk1 , that i replaced with MK2 versions ,
I was said that the reference was different , so not appropriated................that mounts perfectly , all is the same.

Thanks cdrik915 much appreciated

Someone mentioned they thought the main difference was the cup version revs to 9000 rpm
