4th gear shifting issues

Hey y'all, I've been hunting down an issue with my G96 box for months and cannot seem to figure out what is happening. Hoping someone here has had an experience like this or heard of something.

The problem
Once the box gets up to temp I find it very difficult to shift OUT of fourth gear. It is just this gear, no other gears present any issue and going into gear is not a problem that I can perceive either. I will add that it is worse when the car is decelerating (so going from 4->3 is this most difficult) but you can feel it some accelerating 4->5.

When it presented
I had never noticed it until I switched over to a set of Numeric Cables and my initial assumption was they were installed incorrectly or not aligned quite right. Also since it is most noticeable when warm I also assumed it was something else and the solid cables were perhaps transmitting the issue more. I've since checked and had my indy check both at least 3x and everything seems exactly to what Numeric says for the install.

Things to rule out
  1. I have had the box rebuilt since this presented with no change
  2. All synchros were replaced at the time
  3. 3->4 shift fork was also replaced at the time since it was apart and I thought this might be the issue
  4. LSD is brand new and installed at this time as well
  5. I gave the transmission builder carte blanche to change anything that needed to be fixed and they couldn't find any issues with 3,4,5 gears
  6. I feel 95% confident having had the box out twice and apart to look for an issue that it's not internal to the box BUT really scratching my head on this one.
  7. Also replaced the numeric cables with another set of new Numeric cables with the exact same symptoms
  8. Drained and replaced gear oil with Swept 201 and no difference there either

That's a puzzling issue. Since you've ruled out internal transmission problems and replaced the shift cables, consider exploring external factors:

1. Transmission mounts: Inspect and replace if necessary.
2. Crossmember and transmission tunnel: Check for any interference or misalignment.
3. Shifter assembly: Examine the shifter's alignment and condition.
