soft top to hardtop

Just bought a 2000 996 convertible and I love this thing. Now i,am wondering about buying a hardtop (ebay) and what would i have to go through to make it work. It looks like all the fasteners are there, but what about safety circuits? Any ideas?

Don't no if you still need the info but the driver side lock pin attached to the top contain an electric lead that connects to the electrics in the car when you lock it down. There is a connector on the lock that is attached to the roll bar frames that plugs into the car. The top is plug and play. Nothing else needed.
