Check engine light
Recently I have been getting engine code P0491 for a air injection issue. I have been able to reset the code with no issues and the car performs fine. Runs this way and the code comes back. I am fast approaching emissions testing and am looking for solutions that I may be able to perform myself. Your help would be appreciated.

Check for mass airflow sensor could have dirt or oil in there. Also see if oxygen sensors are ok there are 4 of them. Sometimes they codes and check engine light issues.

Airrik thanks for your reply. I have called a service center for the O2 sensors as without the service manuals they can be a pain. I will check the mass air flow though as that is easy to get to.

Is the auxillary air injection pump working? Works for ~15-60 seconds at first cold start up and sometimes on decel after freeway run.
It lives near your left knee when you are gazing into the engine bay. Search rennlist and renntech for cleaning refurbishing threads.
