Passenger side Windows

I have a convertible and when you open the door the window rolls slightly down. it has stopped working on the passenger side but works fine on the drivers side. does anyone know if that is the regulator or does the windows have a sensor that detects when the door is opened?

thanks for the info appreciate it. Has anyone removed the door panels from a 996? if you have instructions or hints appreciate it.
