Question Lumbar support

Hello all,

just purchased a 2004 model. unfortunately the lumbar support keeps going to the maximum setting every time I lock/ unlock the car.

I've tried resetting the memory on the seats. I've tried storing on position 1/2 and key on the memory settings. Nothing seems to work .

Any suggestions?

No expert here as I am fairly new at Porsche, but have you tried the process in the owners manual to disable this feature? I.E.: "1: switch on ignition with desired key. 2: simultaneously press and hold key button and person button 2 for at least 5 seconds." Beyond this I would have to get out the Bentley book, which by the way is an excellent resource.
