Chilly starter
Last winter the starter on my 03 C4S daily driver was, at times,a little finicky when ambient temp was down to about 45 degrees or lower. A couple good depressions of the clutch pedal and she would turn over as strong as ever. Come spring time the gremlin was gone and I had completely forgotten about it. Well, guess what? It's back.
Battery is fresh and fully charged and all electrical systems appear perfectly normal otherwise. Has anyone heard of a clutch pedal switch being temperamental to cold temps? Any other thoughts ?? Thanks, Paul |

Make a jumper to connect the two wires on the clutch switch and see if the problem goes away. Note the cruise may not work if you do this.

I've had the same issue the last two winters and suspected the clutch switch. When it started getter cold this year and the problem returned I ordered a new switch, installed it, and have not had the problem since.
