I just had both hydraulic actuators replaced on my 996 convertible Yr 2001. Top goes up and down fine but in down position, the clamshell will not seat all the way down; it stays up about 1 inch when the operation times out. All microswitches check out fine. Looking for suggestions on what could be the issue. Is it possible the reference points need to be reset as described in the narrative for Fig 13 above or would it be something else?
Thank you in advance.

Are your side flaps in figure 12 both closing completely? That is usually the culprit, if those are OK, go ahead and calibrate the top with the Porsche tester.
