You really had to work for it yesterday! You should get some sort of award for having the motor in and out a couple times in the days before the event!

I still haven't quite figured out how you needed 3rd twice! Must just be the difference in power band as I was all over the 7250RPM chip but I tried 3rd, it wasn't faster.

Here is my 30.3 run. Having that Quafe quick rack sure is nice for not having to shuffle steer but I am so sore today. Everything I could do to muscle the wheel on the second corner.

Good run!!

So, after watching it I am short shifted the first shift into 3rd gear, but the torque allows me not to get bogged down, I probably would of gain a little bit of time staying in 2nd.

Well if the trans was repaired the first time I wouldn't have to drop it a couple of time

Man, this looks like a blast; Good videos!

I haven't autocrossed in nearly 10 years - ran a WRX then an R56 Cooper S in Mid-Atlantic SCCA from 2006-2014. Planning to take my 3.2 out to a couple events in the coming weeks. Any advice?

Have fun and don’t worry about being fast.

It takes a lot of tweaking and really good tires to get an Aircooled car to keep up with GT4s and GT3s theses days and those really good tires will tear up a nice paint job QUICK. Lots of blue tape is your friend if you have a decent paint job.

Smooth is fast.

Just make sure your car is safe, check tires for cracks, lug nuts are tight, brakes are good and that you have plenty of fluids.
