Installing SRP Front Anti-Roll bar
 

Does anyone have any suggestions for aligning the bearing mounts for the "through the body" front anti-roll bar? I've drilled the holes and mounted the bearings. The problems occur when aligning them. The bar binds when I begin tightening the nuts that support the mount.
SRP suggests that when this occurs, use the anti-roll bar to manupilate the sheet metal until the bar moves freely. It is a cumbersome process. Lots of trial and error.
Does anyone have any experience with installing and aligning these bearing mounts? Any experience/guidance will be appreicated!

lots of trial and error, that is how I did it,

is your gas tank out? that can help you see what is going on,

I tightened up the mounts on both sides, and fed the bar in one side and wiggled and bent until it went into the hole on the other side then switch sides and did it the other way

I hope to add this same bar very soon. Any need to reinforce the holes? I have a fairly stiff suspension already, so hopefully, there will not be much movement :)

I'm pretty sure you will want to reinforce the holes; I just had to reinforce mine a few weeks ago after they tore.

The SRP bars are pretty thick, I would definitely consider reinforcing them... It's not really the movement, its the vertical force from twisting the bar. The more stiff, the more stress....

Once you get them lined up, you can either bolt or weld a steel plate around the whole. 1/8"-1/16" is more than enough.

I use the bar to manipulate it like they suggest, and then line up the left and right holes by sight. You can see the other opposite hole, since there will be daylight shining through it. Then with it visually centered, make sure that the hole on your side is straight in line with it. This is with the mounts both fully tightened.
