Looking for input from anyone running a Sparco steering wheel.
I'm thinking of buying a Sparco 345 (63mm dish)or 325 (95mm dish). I need to know which dish to get. Thanks in advance!

Okay, I didn't intend to post this in the track forum, but perhaps that's not all bad. Maybe I'll get answers more in line with how I use the car.
Mods: Feel free to move this thread.

A 63 mm dish is pretty close to "normal" for me (Momo mod 7 has 70 mm). It depends on how close you want the wheel - the 95 mm dish will move it another 1.5 inches closer to you.

I can only echo what Tom has said. Set your seating position and then chose the steering wheel with the dish that will put the wheel at the optimal position for you. You also need to think about the length of hub adaptors and/or quick release mounts and put that into your equation.

Thanks, I only need about 1/2" closer than stock. It's a DE car that's 95% stock. There is no need for a quick disconnect due to race seats or cage.

Sparcos are nice, but if it's 95% stock I think the momo prototiop looks a bit better.
I think either of the sparcos would work. I also believe Leather will hold up better than suede

Is the dish measured from the FRONT face of the wheel to the REAR mounting face?
Cheers

suede is nice. it doesn't get too hot to the touch in the summer, and it doesn't get ice cold in the winter.
as far as sparco.... i had a sparco wheel for several years on my dual duty car. maybe from daily driving, but maybe from the exposure to the sun, the suede separated from the surface on the top of the steering wheel. it wasn't horrible, you rarely hold the top of the wheel, but it was a loose blister of fabric that got created somehow....
