News: We're sponsoring Star Mazda cars in 2010
I had a unique opportunity come up last week that we had to move fast on. As some may know I own a small software company that specializes in the motorsports industry. To help cement our brand we've partnered up with Mundill in Texas to sponsor a few of their pro Star Mazda cars for 2010.
It's pretty heady stuff for me as we went from proposed idea to completion in 3 days last week. I think it's a big step for my new business and I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing cars with our logo on Speed next year! We've structured it as a scholarship program. Star Mazda is like "college" for these guys before they go pro. We're not working with their LMP1 program.
I don't think they'd want me mucking about with these cars. I imagine the things I don't know about open wheel racing at this level is astronomical. (...or perhaps you just meant the coffee gopher. I do make a mean cup of joe)
