Hi all,
I need to put my dear 911 on a diet....any suggestions from where to start and which are the most effective parts to change/remove or throw away? ![]() What kind of weight loss can one expect, if any? Thanks

Just do a search. There are some well-documented threads, with pieces to remove / replace, weights, etc. I am sure you will get plenty of ideas. I think most of the threads are in the 911 technical forum.

First suggestion? Don't start with a Targa.....get a coupe instead.

Yep, I've done that!

Or start with a cabrio and go with a CF roof....

Is it me or does the Pelican search engine suck?
A while ago shakinjoe did an excellent write up on weight reduction, but I can't find it

ShakinJoe's car is a later model coupe, pretty different from a '72 Targa.
