FS: Bilstein B6 set - 1 new, 3 almost new

Full set of Bilstein B6 shocks - for Base 986 Boxster

Hey, 986 fans!

I'm selling a full set of extremely lightly used Bilstein B6 shocks:

1 front - new (installed and removed while car on jacks)
1 front - near new 890 miles
2 rear - near new 900 miles

Entire set (all 4): $800 (compare to $1092 new)
Front pair only: $450 (compare to $576 new)
Rear pair only: $400 (compare to $516 new)

All have some cosmetic blemishes from installation on a 1998 986.

Sorry but I don't want to break up either of the pairs. These prices are less shipping, which is estimated at $10-$17/shock by FedEx ground, depending on how far you are from San Diego, CA.

This is a good deal, and the B6's work great with stock springs and give a great ride and performance, especially if you are replacing some aging stock shocks. I used the 101 Projects book to do the job in my garage.

Why, you may ask, are these for sale? :roll eyes: The three slightly used ones were installed new in Nov. 2016, shortly after which my daughter had a little mishap involving a really bad rainstorm, a sharp off-camber turn, and a curb, causing me to have to replace a bent front shock. While all torn apart, I decided to go with ROW M030 springs (which do not work with the B6 shocks) requiring a subsequent change to B8 shocks.
