This 1981 Porsche 911 SC Targa is largely original and unrestored. It is in excellent overall condition and is a great driver. The Guards Red paint is original and is highly presentable with the exception of a few rock chips on the hood. The interior is also outstanding; its tan and brown leather trim shows virtually no wear. The instrument panel is perfect and the Targa top was reconditioned in 2002. The car has its original carpet and its original Blaupunkt radio. Factory options include air conditioning, cruise control (not working), leather seats, power windows, rear window defroster, fog lights, 16” Fuch alloy wheels and a galvanized steel body.
The engine was overhauled by Franz Blam Racing and includes replacing head studs, hydraulic chain tensioners and adjusting valves.. Air conditioning also was updated with an upgraded Keuhl A/C compressor, upgraded A/C blower, new evaporator along with a new condenser and air box valve. Additionally upgraded tie rods, front and rear brake calipers were installed as well as new plugs, wires and a clutch kit. The car comes with books and records and it has a clean Carfax.
