76 911 Targa
After 17 great years of ownership, it is time to sell my 911. I listed it about a year ago and thought it was sold. I was relieved when it did not go through. A year later and I realize again that my driving window is too short and I have too many cars.
Overall a very solid and well maintained car. Driven about 2,500 miles every summer and always stored inside. 2018 $3k+ service by Storz Garage in Denver. Oil, new clutch, rocker arm service. This service took care of most of the oil leaks. PPI showed one cylinder leak down was not as great as the others. I will get that information and post as soon as I receive it from Storz, along with the rest of the report. Estimated repair on that was $2,500 but he felt it was not urgent. In 2011 I put a replacement 2.7 engine in it with a recent rebuild. All work done by Eurosport in Denver. At the time I put in Carrera tensioners, Turbo oil cooler (if I remember the correct name), and countless other upgrades at a cost of $7,600 plus whatever I paid for the engine at the time. Interior in good shape with a few dash cracks. New stereo two years ago with new speakers and amp. Targa top in good shape. Could use the seal replacement but leaks are minimal. Paint is only fair. Looks better in the pictures than in person. These pictures are from last year but nothing has changed. Shows roughly 97k on the clock but TMU. Base on the condition when I purchased I have no reason to question but no way to verify. $28k. Located in Vail Colorado. PPI's welcome but there is no one really close. I would prefer to have anyone interested view in person so they can be comfortable with condition or have a third party check for them. I rarely check PM's. charleyviola@gmail.com ![]() ![]()
