1971 914 6 originally a four

$16,000

I have a 1971 914 with a 1972 911 motor. Engine # 6129151. Engine type 911/61. Crank case # 901 101 102 3R. Duel Weber 40 carbs, 911s exhaust. Full cage, custom upholstery, Prototipo steering wheel, keyless start, cut off switch, reverse block out plate. Brake cooling ducts, 993 brakes (drilled rotors, and calipers). 5 lug, 315-40-Zr 18 rear, 205-50-Zr15 front. 3 piece Centerline wheels. Side shift 901 tranny with race ratios. External and fender cooler oil sumps. Koni red adjustable suspension, all 4 corners..
This car is 50 years old and no rust. Nothing at the windshield washer reservoirs, the light buckets, along the windshield. The battery tray is relocated in the front. This a solid car. Very light. The doors are hollow, the body is mostly fiberglass. Corner weighted 1700 lbs. I don't know the internals as I have never had an issue with the car. There is a 993 oil cooler and the car has power, I assume a 993 was a big part of this build. This has definitely been cammed as it behaves that way. This is a track car. Perfectly sound and will start right up. Affordable DE car, autocrosser, or vintage racer. It runs very and strong and needs nothing. Technically in California, this car can be street legal, but you would have to be very strategic about where you go, it is very low to the ground, and it's looks attract a lot of attention. Yes it drives great. It has been to the track 3 times and to 6 autocross events since I bought it in 2012.
That is why I am selling it. I have 3 other Porsche's and just don't use this one much.

I have been a very competitive autocrosser in the PCA, This car is a monster.
Thanks,

Lisa
