1971 911S Project

I just listed my 1971 911S. I was going to wait until spring but since we don’t have snow year I thought I would list it now and see

I have an Early 911 factory S car! PROJECT! Sadly a previous owner in the 80s/90s “updated” this car. Fiberglass kit, Job was done well but it is no longer a long hood . There is Rust that needs to be repaired. And I know rust is bad but it is lot as bad as I have seen restorations done. Good part is repairing rust would be the opportunity to bring it back to the longnose The matching engine is gone, replaced with a 2.7 with CIS. engine turns over by hand but I have not tied to start it. Car sat for a number of years so gas is old at minimum . Car has sportomatic transmission (apparently rebuilt for $8000 and not used since?) but I have no receipts so that doesn’t mean anything in reality .
Interior modified with recaro seats from the update era. Real BBS Rims from the resto era. This car is a project but you will NOT find an early model car for this price! Especially not a factory S! The last pic is what I think should be done….an outlaw type build. I sadly don’t have the time, money, resources to do it properly. Car is in Alberta, Canada price is US dollars. $22,500 Negotiable within reason. I would Consider keeping the CIS stuff for less $. Pm me with any questions. I want this going to a good home vs making $. I have a 77 targa that I have owned for over 25 years and I would rather focus my resources on getting that one back on the road .
