944 Race Car for sale $12,500 OBO

Turnkey, ready to race or DE. PCA Club Racing (SP2 class) 2025 logbook. All maintenance up to date. Many recent upgrades. 4 sets of wheels. Scrubbed and part used Hoosier R7 slick tires included. Long time owner (since 2013). I most recently competed with this car at Watkins Glen and NJMP this year. I've replaced the 944 with a Spec Boxster race car. Car is currently stored at race shop near Yardley, PA.

Looking for someone to continue enjoying the car in PCA Club racing, other series, DE events and/or autocross. Possibly good for a family member?

2.5L inline four-cylinder engine with Molnar connecting rods and Wossner pistons. Upgraded front suspension using all new Porsche spindles, Racer’s Edge billet hubs and control arms, Koni shocks and Delrin bushings. Limited slip differential transaxle. Sparco Pro ADV seat mounted on Recaro sliders (2021) and reinforced floor. Five-point harness and window net. Upgraded fire suppression system (2024). Have supporting documentation.

One scrubbed set and one partially used set of Hoosier R7 tires (245/40ZR15) mounted on Maxilite 5 spoke rims. One set of partially used Continental Extreme Contact Force tires (245/40ZR15) mounted on widened Porsche cookie cutter rims; used for DE and wet races. One set of Porsche phone dial rims.

Spare rebuilt engine available at additional cost.

Also adding these photos which are the most current I have. Car exterior superficial condition typical for a race car; the frame/chassis is straight. I'm planning to move the Garmin Catalyst system, radio and fan to my new race car. The second seat was added for driver coaching but is removable (e.g. for weight saving); car weighs pretty close to the SP2 class miminum of 2,650 lbs (without the second seat and with about a 1/4 of tank of gas). Car has plexiglass front and rear windows.
