Been asked for the werks equipment.
So here is the list from the "PORSCHE birth certificate" of the car: M 440 - manuel antenna, 2 speaker in doors M 469 - black ceiling (interior sky) M 496 - Black trim - painted headlight rims M 498 - Without rear model designation M 563 - leather sport wheel To make that clear, there was or is - no aircon - no sunroof - no tinted glass - no power windows - no fog lights - no electronic heating - no electric power or heated seats - no rear wiper - no radio (actually has a modern Blaupunkt) - not even a center console - no ..... So SC pure If you want a luxury cruiser, this might not be your car. Beside the RUF SCR transforming work, it recently got - 6 + 7 x 16 Fuchs wheel with spacers - 3.0 turbo wing (early one without aircooler) with front lip - JWEST RennShifter - SSI heaters with a Friedrich exhaust - 3-point safety belts on rear for the kids - LUISI steering wheel Last edited by carrera84; 11-08-2025 at 12:48 AM.. |

Been asked for some technical details and performance of a RUF SCR3.2
In 1978, a German car magazin tested a SRC. Here are some data and results: ![]() To help understanding the acceleration and top speed of the RUF, it is compared to a standard 911 180hp SC, a carrera3.0, carrera RS3.0, carrera RS2.7, 3.0 turbo etc. ![]() Top speed higher than a the 260hp turbo, acceleration identical to a carrera RS3.0, fuel consumption less than a standard SC This was the first 215hp version. Later ones, as my SCR, had 218hp for some reason. Anyway, I´d say this was underrated as I doubt you can do 255km/h with 215hp. |
