Nice car -- but isn't $15k a little high?

Sounds like it's worth it to me if you liked the color.

Wow, is that Porsche color: hospital grade butterscotch pudding #472??? Just kidding, it's actually very funky.

I posted a question/remark about the car, but after reading Noah's sticky I withdrew it. Good luck on the sale...

Konish,

I saw your post... I did not have a chance to reply until now.

The car is priced at $15.9K because it is VERY nice. I look at 911's all the time and I see lots that leave much to be desired.

This car is clean, tight, original condition. Its tough (not impossible) to find a 911 in this condition. I just spent over $600 for a complete service.

When I said "someone make a move here", I meant someone make an offer. We can go from there...

I enjoy this car...if I cant get a reasonable price for it, I will continue to put miles on it and sell it next year for $12K.

Regarding the color.... some people are put off by it, but believe it or not, the car looks great when its clean. The contrast of the the black trim and fuchs against the "Skippy" peanut butter color is quite handsome.

The car gets lots of compliments, especially since its a rare color.
.... but you gotta like it!!!!!

Personally, I dont even look at white or red 911's.

"Not my bag, baby!"

Now, some one make a move here!!!!!!!!!

Best,

Roland,
Again, didn't mean to chump your ad...I think your car IS very nice. It'll be interesting to see what the market bears. I would say that I think your $12K next year will sell the car immediately....

Personally, I really like that color. It's different but it also has a smooth look to it. Good luck with your sale.

OK, I made the move here.... price has been lowered to $13,500.

Runs perfect, major service completed 300 miles ago, limited slip differential, sports seats, all upgrades. Very clean, correct.

The car is 25 years old. Somewhere along the way, I am sure that there has been some paintwork. The car still looks great.
This photo taken this evening 11/13/04. Very nice car.

I saw and drove Skippy yesterday -- REALLY nice car. Clean as a whistle, shifts and drives beautifully, just plain terrifically sorted out. The color looks a bit nicer in person than it does in the photos, too. Matter of fact -- its almost too nice -- for me. I'm a bit of a slob and I don't have a garage, so I feel a bit guilty about picking up such a pristine car and exposing it to east coast weather. Plus, you should love the color -- repainting such a cherry original car would be a blasphemy. The more I look the more I really want a blue or white or green car.

Whoever picks it up -- especially on the west coast -- will be very happy, I think.

Will

Very nice SC, I even like the color. Wanna trade for a '99 A4? Probably not, had to try though. Good luck with the sale.
