how close to SoCal is close?

If you are seriously interested, I could drive this one out to you. It will snow here soon, after which time it will not come out of storage until May...

I've got a silver 1981 SC coupe for sale in San Diego. The trans was just rebuilt and the tires are new. Asking $13k. Email me at muscatcory@yahoo.com and I'll send you info and pics.

How about this one.......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4503942075

I am looking to get $9350.00 out of it. The car is clean and have 95K miles on it. I have some records on it. Runs and looks great. At this price you would still have some money left for mods.

Good luck in your search

Ed

"Coupes are for the hard core track guys"......

I suppose that statement is technically true, but they are also for anyone who recognises that the roof line of the original 911 is the most beautiful part of what is considered a classic design. The coupe profile is widely regarded as the best automotive design in the last 50 years by many modern designers who were not born when the 911 was penned. The targa design does not enjoy the same status, to put it politely.

Enjoy your cars whatever they are, but this guy sounds like he knows what he wants and the "what you really want is a targa" remarks pretty laughable, IMO.

Thank you for your support! The patriotism of our good citizens is what keeps our boys in the fight. Anybody suppose I can get a DEEP military discount on a 997? ... No?... I'll stick with the SC, slightly more affordable, and better looking too!

Semper Fi,
Doug

Hi everyone,
I've seen a couple cars but nothing to my liking. Any new leads out there? I've been putting in a lot of hours searching, but with little return. It's become more of an obsession than anything else. I check this website at least five times a day... I need to seek help.

Happy Holidays,
Doug
