Taking Offers: 1984 M491 Turbo Look Carrera - will be at Monterey
Baby on the way....with a heavy heart...
I will be taking offers for my '84 M491 Turbo Look Carrera at Monterey. Genuine Turbo-Look w/ LSD differential - Guards red w/ black. All original unrestored condition 8+/9-, original paint/interior. 101K miles 930 chassis/brakes/suspension New: fuel pump, CHT, O2 sensor, brake lines, R134a A/C retrofit complete re-wiring of electrical system Vent upgrade for increased airflow Sport seats I have records from 2000 - clean carfax and car smogged earlier this year passed. I will have title w/ me this weekend if the right buyer comes up and wants to drive the car home. Car will be parked at Green 3 or Green 4 at Laguna Seca. I have the car up at a local auto fair this weekend in Rocklin, CA for $19,700. One issue is an oil leak at VC gasket/cam cover, which popped up right after the races, so I have cut asking price. May be either gasket or the oil line itself, which repair is well-documented here. Car was serviced at Niello Porsche this week. Would love to see the car go to a P-car enthusiast given its rarity.
