1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet with G50
Up for sale is an excellent 1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. The exterior is black and the interior is grey. The car is fitted with a 6 cylinder 3.2L engine with 214 HP. The engine only has 99K miles. 5 speed manual transmission. This is the air cooled series and has the highly desirable and dependable G50 transmission.
Listed below are many options/upgrades that came directly from Porsche upon delivery of the vehicle back in 1988: Air Conditioning, Power Everything (Windows, Locks, Passenger & Driver Seats, Heated Outside Rear View Mirrors and Cabriolet Top), Fog Lights and Cruise Control The car has been well maintained, with routine mechanical procedures listed below: Valve adjustment and gaskets replaced at 92K miles, Wheel alignment and balance at 92K miles, Replaced transmission oil at 93K miles, Complete clutch replacement, oil service and new engine sound pad at 98K miles. Complete AC upgrade (new compressor and receiver drier, condenser fan, evaporator, R134a Freon upgrade and full charge in August 2010 / 99K miles) Through the years I have had a number of upgrades professionally installed…please see the list below: Linea Corse Fuch wheels (17 x 7.5 on the front and 17 x 9 on the back)…all fitted with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires (225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear) that have only 1K miles on them. Porsche OEM front spoiler lip, Porsche OEM 930S Sport steering wheel, New leather shifter boot, Porsche OEM Drivers left foot rest, Black “Porsche” stitched front and rear floor carpet mats, and Complete audio system (OEM Porsche CR-220 head unit with iPod/Aux input…NO GLOWING ALPINE HERE!, Focal 6 ½ 2-way component speaker system in the front, JL Audio 8” subwoofer in a custom enclosure in the rear, Alpine amplifier under the passenger seat and Dynamat sound proofing) Now the car…I purchased this 911 in 2007 from the original owner’s family. The car had 92K miles when I bought it, so as you can see, I’ve only put 7K miles on it in 3 years. I have the original window sticker, original manuals (including owner’s manuals, accessories book, dealer directory and CR-220 manual), original owner records and all my records. The car is in great condition and has been garaged kept. The interior has been smokeless and clean, as there are no cracks in the leather or dash and the rear window is clean and clear. The outside paint is in good condition with normal wear. The top has normal wear and works electrically perfect! The cabriolet boot is clean and fastens perfectly. The car has a clean Car Fax record and passes emissions every year. This 911 has never been in an accident or on the track. I have a clear title in hand and am not a dealer…just a private seller (so no tax!) who doesn’t get to drive this classic very much! Asking $21,499 I am in Atlanta, GA and PPI is welcomed. Feel free to call me at 404-317-1289 with any questions. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Advice?
As a newer member to the Porsche family and this Pelican forum...can I please get a little constructive feedback. I see that there have been a number of views of my '88 Cab for sale, so...any help/thoughts on my description, pics and/or price would be welcomed...
Thanks, William |
