FS (NV) 1983 911 Race Car 993 Body

For sale is a 1983 Porsche 911 (body 993) Race Car. Based on a 1983 911 SC chassis, the car has no problems and is a nice example of a Porsche race car, the car has not been involved in any crashes or damage on or off the track.

Body:
-993 +3 Fiberglass body kit, includes wide fenders, front/rear bumpers, and fiberglass roof
-Large rear wing
-Lexan windows
-Front fenders and bumper recently converted to 993 from the RSR style – NOT due to damage, can provide removed parts pic's
-I have not had them painted yet but can arrange to do so.
-Dry weight of car is just over 1,930 lbs.

Interior:
-Interior stripped bare - no carpeting, factory sound proofing, door panels, etc.
-Full welded roll cage with NASCAR style bracing on the driver side.

-5 speed 915 magnesium gear box, freshly rebuilt, tall 1st gear, close ratio.

-Spring suspension, 475 lbs. front and 600 lbs. rear (torsion bars removed)
-Bilstein shock absorbers

The car is very neutral, runs well and is faster than I am!! It has been run by my wife and me at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA; Sonoma Raceway/Sears Point; Thunderhill Raceway; at the Portland Rose Cup; Auto Club Speedway, sports car configuration in Fontana; Willow Springs and Buttonwillow Raceway Park near of Bakersfiled, CA. Lap times for these races available on request. The car has been built and maintained by Mat Lowrance of SportHaus and Rennsport in Reno Nevada, a notable Porsche driver and engine builder / race shop.
