1970 Porsche 911T Conda Green 2.4S Build
1971 Conda Green/Black 911T Coupe 2.4S Rebuild $75,000
Complete pictures at https://picasaweb.google.com/108154694666426699627/1970Porsche911TCondaGreen Conda Green/Black. Seems a 3-owner car, owned for 30 years by one owner. Mileage is unknown due to multiple repairs to speedometer. Odometer reads 34,000 miles. Serviced at Tuthill Porsche while in England. Underside condition is excellent. Owner had the underside of the car waxed periodically, presumably for corrosion protection. Stuttgart Porsche factory manufactured the chassis, i.e. not Karmann. No structural rust or repairs. No evidence of any crash repairs in either records or inspection by Porsche-specialist body shop. No crack in dash, which has speaker delete. Vitaloni mirrors on both sides. Engine leaks no more than one drop of oil every few days. You will not find an early 911 which drives better. Pulls like an ‘S’ or better from 4,000 rpm onward. ‘Average’ repaint in original 2626-G Conda Green. Original Fuchs wheels. Sport steering wheel. Original seats are in good condition for age. Optima battery. Drilled rotors on front. Front anti-sway bar. Front fender mounted oil cooler. 5 speed with Weltmeister short shift kit. Engine was rebuilt to 2.4S specifications with Mahle pistons and cylinders, S cam, Carrera pressure fed tensioners, Weber carbs, twin air intakes. Engine number 6107676 matches chassis number 9110100945. Minor issues: Cracked windshield. LH window crank knob missing. Glove box door is stuck closed. Minor water stains around edges of headliner. Three dings where paint is cracked. Single Optima battery instead of dual. Windshield washer not working. Horn not working. Odometer works intermittently. Door panels need adjustment.
