1988 944 Turbo - Sport seats, coilovers, big turbo, fikse
SOLD
I purchased this 1988 944 Turbo two years ago and spent a significant amount of money/time rehabbing and upgrading. When I bought it the odometer read ~139k and I've since put around 3k miles on the car. When I got the car it had the typical broken odometer gear, not sure how long it was broken for. It's finally to a point where all it needs are some minor cosmetic touch-ups. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in the car and am selling it along with my 80 series land cruiser to get one nicer family car to complement my e55 wagon (I have two small children). Below is a list of things done to the car during my ownership. Engine: - Garrett 60 trim t3/t04e (rebuilt 200 miles ago) - Lindsey Racing "M-Tune", pump and race gas tunes for 2.5L - Lindsey Racing 3" Exhaust - Lindsey Racing Manual Boost Controller - AEM Wideband/Boost Gauge - SFR Stage 2 Intercooler (installed when Turbo was rebuilt) - SFR 2.5" Charge Pipes (installed when Turbo was rebuilt) - Belt Service, re-seal front of motor - Braided fuel lines Suspension: - Bilstein Escort Coilovers; spring rates for track. - Camber Plates - M030 Front Sway Bar - Weltmeister Rear Sway Bar - Elephant Racing Polybronze Spring Plate Bearings - Elephant Racing 30mm Quickchange hollow torsion bars - Elephant Racing Quickchange Spring Plate - Corner Balanced (3k lbs with 1/2 tank) Wheels: - Fikse FM10, 17x9, 17x10; new tires - OEM Porsche Clubsport wheels, 16x8, 16x9; need new tires - OEM Phone Dials; need refinishing and new tires - H&R Spacers (currently have the rears on, had a few different sets for the clubsport wheels as well) Miscellaneous: - Texas Performance Splitter - New lloyds "Turbo" mats - Original steering wheel re-covered - Original seats re-covered and included - Late model sport seats re-covered in silver rose plaid (have additional cloth for door cards and rear seats); currently installed - Full audio update including 4 x new JL speakers + 8" sub, jl amp, alpine head unit Cons: some minor areas in the carpet that could use stitching (I.e. Floor areas near front of the door). Mechanic told me the rear hatch is looking like delamination is coming. One or two small cracks in the dash. Rear fenders were "pulled" a bit and you can tell (fikses originally had much wider rubber when I bought them), minor dings here and there on the car. I'll shoot a detailed video showing all flaws in the next week or so and upload. I welcome any PPI/Compression test/leakdown test st buyer's cost. Price for everything above: $15k If you don't want the fikses, the clubsports and/or the sport seats they can be removed and price adjusted accordingly. Additional Parts: - Have a spare block and head along with a 3L crank, was planning to build a stroker motor at some point. Can be included for $1k additional. ![]() ![]()
