So this is a newer style head unit going in the 2005?
Yeah, the date on mine has been off, but maybe you have the right soln.

Yes. Porsche designed. Retains all features of OEM head unit (steering wheel control, trip computer) and adds Apple CarPlay/Android Equivalent, touchscreen, streaming etc. . .

It will be expensive but I custom ordered this vehicle with the Telephone Preparation option and Porsche NEVER made the hardware available connect cell phones. Something about lawsuit in 2005 with the FCC. That’s all ancient history now. My head unit is acting up, not scrolling the map, occasional errors, so it probably was time for a new head unit anyway.
