I have a 2004 V6 3.2 cayenne with the cdr23 in the dash It has the orange fiber optic & the can buss wires in it's plug & nothing else. The car has no CD changer and has no amplifier in the right rear quarter panel.
I am a long time car audio installer and can NOT find the amp ANYWHERE!!!! I have taken out the glove box.....looked on the other side of the car in the right rear quarter panel... I even looked under the passenger seat,& under the drivers dash. I can see the fiber optic cables run towards the rear of the radio cavity on the left side. Then the look to go towards the passenger side of the car. After that I can not figure out where they go. In all the years I have been doing car audio I have worked on lots of Cayenne's ,Q7's & Tourages. the amp is always in the rear quarter panels. This care does not have bose, but still has 10 speakers from what I can tell. Can ANYONE possibly guide me as to where the amplifier might be?????? Thanks in advance!
